After decades with a camera in hand, I’ve found that the most lasting images aren’t always the sweeping vistas or epic scenes. Often, they’re quieter: the curve of a leaf catching early light, the hush of a bird mid-turn, the way a tree leans into solitude. These are the moments that don’t clamor for attention—but they stay, lingering like memory.

This collection exists in the spaces between definition. Not purely landscape, not quite travel—just fragments of time when something stirred beneath the surface. A wall of shadowed foliage on a forest walk. The sudden stillness of a kangaroo pausing at dawn. I didn’t plan to capture them; they found me anyway.
